Critter Sitters of Franklin is owned and operated by Shawn LaFlamme of Franklin, NH. His love of animals has led him to a lifetime of pet and animal experiences. He is now using those experiences to work with great clients toward the care of their beloved pets.

 

Shawn currently resides with his lovely wife Stephanie and their large critter family. Their three pit bulls, 2 adopted from shelters, 1 from foster care, get along great with the 3 cats. The cats, in turn, don't bother the 4 cockatiels, who certainly know how to make their presence known. Shawn also has a couple reptiles living with him. A desert terrarium housing a bearded dragon and a uromastix is a site to see. The corn snake and tarantulas are quiet in terrariums of their own.

 

 

Critter Sitters of Franklin does NOT have any employees. Shawn performs all of your pet care personally to ensure the best quality service possible.

 

 

Critter Sitters of Franklin is a member of the Pet Sitters Association, LLC. We carry liability insurance through the same company, as well as "special property of others coverage" to protect against things such as mysterious disappearances, destruction and breakage (the aspect of bonding).

 

 

Shawn is the co-founder and treasurer of ALIA (Animal Lovers in Action). This is a non-profit company that helps to support the local shelters including The Concord-Merrimack County SPCA, The NH Humane Society and The Franklin Animal Shelter.

 

Shawn is also a member of the Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS) association.

 

 

Shawn is a computer hobbiest who enjoys several computer activities. He has earned a Masters of Science in Parapsychic Science from AIHT. He enjoys playing paintball, Hiking and camping. Most of his time is spent playing, walking, and training his faithful pups, Dragon and Bandit & Silly Willy which led him to pursue his dog training certification through the Animal Behavior College.
